Father of the Nation needs to carry all our burdens….dreams, aspirations of millions…….do we ever pause to think what the Father wanted from the Nation

Rajat told us – Gandhi’s simplicity was like a child’s play in a chicken field – still don’t know what is a chicken field - but the meaning was more than clear – and it was not only his social philosophy or Congress organization….his message was simple
In New Delhi, I am used to customary portrait of a smiling Mahatma in every public servant’s room – sitting underneath most of us lie habitually, indulge in decadence and behave like feudal lords. We excel in saying no and we are most scared to experiment with truth.

सर आपकी कोशिश तो बहुत अच्छी है, लेकिन क्या हमारी पीढी कभी भी गांधी जी को ठीक से समझ पाएगी या सच बात तो यह है क्या कोई हमें यह समझा पाएगा। मेरे स्कूल से लेकर कालेज तक के दिनों मे हमसें से ९० प्रतिथत लोग गांधी से नफरत करते थे, वजह कुछ भी रही हो.....। और आज जब कि गांधीवाद की प्रासंगिकता सबसे ज्यादा नजर आती है, हमारी उससे दूरी उतनी ही ज्यादा बढ़ती दिखाई पड़ती है। तस्वीरों, रुपयों और भाषणों में जकड़ दी गई सोंच (गांधीवाद) को भी क्या कभी आजादी मिल पाएगी।।।।।
